Winter, Warmer

So it's post apocalyptic Christmas ballad time: drones, melancholy piano, drum machines, acoustic drums, acoustic guitar and in a seasonal spirit: sleigh bells from my son's kid's percussion set.

Lovely piece!  Full of excellent textures and tones.

Gorgeous stuff. Wish it was winter. sad
Pretty sure if I had the ideal freelance career, I'd live half the year (say June-Dec) in Australia, and the other half in Europe...

Doesn't quite feel nuclear winter enough somehow.

Sooo, the toys have taken over, eh? Certainly a welcome break from the usual forced cheer.

great!

I'm getting a hopeful post apocalyptic vibe from this.

It does manage to capture a christmas feel in the midst of utter desolation.  Nice.

And still, at the moment I think quite a few people here in Norway wouldn't mind trading places with you for a bit of summer smile

Maybe not taken over, but I realized that when it comes to shakers and bells, my son now has a wider variety of sounds available than I have. I'm sure he'll forgive me for borrowing his stuff while he sleeps.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to listen and comment!

Y'know, my partner and I were seriously considering moving to Norway, because we could more easily import our pet rabbits there. But we've settled on potentially moving elsewhere now. Say no to summer. smile
