This week's track started with me opening the wrong project file(!). I opened the project file from track 51 for WB2016 by accident and thought: OK, let's see where this goes.
Removed most of it, keeping the percussion, pianoteq settings and one strings track. Changed the time signature to 3/4 and started improvising over it. Then replaced the percussion with Volca hats and kick drum, and took a few parts out of the piano track and assigned them to a Absynth patch instead.
I tried to edit it to introduce a better song structure, but couldn't get it to work very well, so I kept it as a slightly meandering improvisation. On one level I'm happy with this, on another I feel like this is less than the sum of it's parts.

I think it's a cool idea to improvise a new piece out of an older one, even if it's by accident.  I like how the percussion sounds like sprinklers.  Maybe that's what they are?  It works well as a whole for me.

Enjoyed this, great one to drift off to

It's very tense. Well done.

Always love your restrained use of drum machines and those Pianotek sounds are really nice.

Haunting piece especially with the opening progression.  Love the absynth patch and how it has a cello-like feel to it.  Nice job!
