All Darkness and Sweet

By Plantrain on November 4, 2018 9:58 pm

Most of the discarded pieces from last week's track make a return this week.
The background sounds, kick and snare drums are from last week. I added Volca hi-hats, Absynth bass and sort-of-but-not-quite piano from Pianoteq.

The title is sort of a combined reference to last week's title, Halloween being this last week and for the beer geeks out there: Stout Day.

still amazed by your use of pianoteq. really inspiring!

Love the minimalism here!

this is solid. spooky fun

Nice spooky journey!

A nice contrast with last week, but not quite as coherent.

The deep 808ish kick and perc adds a nice touch to the lovely pianoteq chords.  The anticipation of something dark about to go down.  Very cinematic feel too.  Nice work!

It's as if Halloween never left.  Also, beer!  Yum!  Nice spooky vibes and then the end delivers the sweetness.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to listen and comment!

That scary cha cha cha cha rattle in the background really sets the mood. Great sounding bass too, nestled down in the mix with that 808 kick. Great mood and atmosphere.
