Life is Good

I have been remastering a few old projects and I found some notes for songs I never finished. This song is an outtake from an acoustic EP I released in 2018. I re-recorded all the parts this week and added some new ones. I might do the same thing for some other outtakes over the next few weeks.

You could seriously start a very successful cult with this song!!!!!!!!love it
I love the delayed snare so much, is that the Rhythm Wolf?

The clean guitars sounds great. Nice peaceful track.

Very pretty recording. Loving the sound of the acoustic. Wonderful clarity! and I'm curious how you recorded and effected it.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! The delayed snare is not a Rhythm Wolf, it's just the stock delay plugin in my DAW (Presonus Studio One). I just played around with the sync/decay settings, but I love the effect.

For the acoustic guitar, I recorded it about 8in from the 12th fret using a single mid-range MXL condenser mic. The sound quality is honestly not great, so I EQ'd it aggressively using a bandpass filter and added some subtle bitcrusher distortion to give it a lofi effect.
