Don't Ask Me

By pineapple_dan on March 3, 2024 5:34 am

I attempted to quickly write and record a straightforward acoustic rock song without overthinking anything.

***

The road I'm taking, we'll just roll right though
All smooth sailing out from here
No more regrets left to weigh me down
Only actions out from here

I don't know! Where the pain is
I don't know! How to save this
I don't know! Where my mind is
I don't know! So don't ask me

I'm getting pretty good, I'm going pro
At living with mistakes
This time I'm staying true, I'm pulling though
Whatever it takes

that's a great attitude toward music making, that feeling comes through in the vibe, laid back and relaxed, but also enough to hear the character and passion punch through. thanks for the reminder and I enjoyed the tune!

I'm feeling the tone and quality of your voice for this one!

Move to Sacramento!

Thanks, I definitely enjoyed playing with the twangy character on this one

Hmm, I think I did that once already!

Killer songwriting! (i crave a drum entrance with that last chorus reprise, but just mentioning to show how much this track inspires)

Wow thanks so much for the listen! Maybe this one has legs after all.
