made on m8 per usual. ok trying to cop the flying lotus/broken beat vibe again. listening to a lot of that music. was flying out to meet my band on tour so got a noise track from the airport shuttle. vocal track is the airport security guy telling everybody all the rules. what else i feel like a lot of that music is like claustrophobic compression so there’s a whole silent track that just makes other tracks duck. oh and like synth harp arps cause hell yeah. let me know what you think.

Grooving to the broken beat takes some attention but it's well worth it. The arp that comes in around 1:30 composes really well with that. The vocals are super processed so if you haven't said I should expect any, I wouldn't notice those are vocals big_smile

I made a "broken beat" of sorts myself this week as 7/8 is not easy to bob your head to.

Really like those claps. Very punchy.

Nice groovy bass, fun synths. I liked it.

Absolutely love the arp strings, as rplktr said. Very nice work overall!

ah thanks!  to be fair, to make the yelling security line guy play music I did have to use a lot of processing. I can’t wait to check your track out!

ah thanks!  I actually made a clap stack instrument out of like 5 sounds and some random DEL and then randomized which slice was getting used as the snare.

much appreciated. I’ve been obsessed with the plucked setting on macrosynth lately.
