THE PROOF

After playing the with mic on the M8:02 last week for some vocal bits, I decided to go all in this week.
This week's track is 100% made with my voice through the mic on the M8:02. I started with a "boom", then a "bap", and a "tick-chick" ... then just kept going. Some "oohs" and some "ahhs" and a pitched down distorted bass line and some spoken lines from an old calculus text book to fill out the rest of the song.
So, no synths for anything. Just my voice and messing with envelopes, filters, amps, pitches, and EQ on the M8 for everything.
Actually, the new M8 EQ really helped on this one. Since everything was just my voice, there was a ton of harmonic overlap will all the different parts and it was just a muddy mess. With the EQ I could kind of separate everything and clean things up ... granted, I don't really know what I'm doing other than trying to give each "instrument" its own frequency range to occupy. So much to learn still!
Fun times. And another week down.
