Please don't leave your baggage unattended

This week I have been mostly playing around with C tuning on a classical guitar.
I started with an idea and then I was not really inspired to finish it.

I ended up going with a second idea and layered stuff on top: classical guitar, banjolele, bass, and electric guitar. I found a guitar effect on GarageBand that I ended up liking a lot for the song.

Since I wanted to add some vocal but did not have the time and energy for it, I added some ambience recording from Barcelona's airport. That gave me the title! Then the lead vocal is voice memo from my grandma.

I am still struggling with time for learning more about sound, effects, mix, master and so many other things. I hope I will find the time in the coming weeks!

Enjoy it!

The chill and laid back vibes here are so nice... And I love that you incorporated a voice note from your grandma in here, that's very sweet.

Super cozy! Great job making all those layers of strings work together.

Grandma is great on the lead vocals! 🤗 Lovely tune! The chords give nice traveling vibes, I think it's the way they stick close to the tonic as the route is planned in advance and all we gotta do is follow it to get there. With a hint of being careful along the way, but mostly with being curious and glad for the journey. The mix sounds good, at least on the phone! Will report later on the big speakers! big_smile thx for sharing!

The guitar jamming out behind Grandma sounds great.  Cool effects on it, too—I didn't know garage band could do that

The combination of sounds here is really pleasant. Relaxed drums, classical guitar, then the groovy way lead on top. The spoken track just kinda makes it feel like real life. Dig it!
