Once again working through writers block. Sampled a percussive invention of Chad VanGaalen, if you aren't familiar with his work I highly suggest you check it out. Both his animations & music are fantastic.

Really into the sounds here. And the progression at 2/3rds is incredible. I'd be delighted if this popped up in a video game or trippy sequence in a movie.

Certainly complete. Dreamy, even.

This was crafted with care, I really liked the choice of tones and sounds, that very short snare is the perfect drum color for that nice breezy track big_smile

It's very pretty, I know you can keep this up.

very nice idm feeling, those chord movements work great

Honestly delightful. Evokes Miyazaki vibes for me somehow big_smile

This is really lovely!  It goes well with the cool animations!

Thanks a bunch! I scored a few shorts in college but have never tackled any games, might be something to look into down the road though! I know a lot of chip folks end up going that route and it seems super fun.

Glad you think so, and thanks! Amazing how sometimes stuff produced right down the deadline can sometimes feel more complete than stuff that takes weeks or months to put together. A lot more of an organic process.

Thanks, glad the attention to detail comes across! Snare sound was a happy mistake burying a erosion filter under a hard gate, thought it contrasted well w/ the tumbling, light samples though!

Thanks a bunch! Any suggestions for idm artists to check out? I never really know what falls into that category. I think Amon Tobin & Aphex Twin are probably the artists I'm most familiar with in that umbrella. Would Baths be considered idm?

Ah, that's wonderful! Miyazaki vibes are the best vibes so I'm really glad it evoked that for you.
