Anthony's Wedding - Song 2 of 15ish

By PantherMountain on February 4, 2024 8:03 pm

Two Down, at least 13 to go.

Very slowed down version of one of my favorite Lowbrow songs that I wrote.

Original Version:

Ended up being far more intricate than I expected.  Prime candidate for one of the wedding party entrance songs.  Super happy with how it turned out.

Working on another cover today, hopefully I can have it dialed in by next Sunday to keep the mellow jams flowing.

Guitars: Parker Acoustic P8, Tom Anderson Classic T, Suhr Antique T
Bass: Dingwall NG4
Amps: Suhr PT100 Plugin, SVT Classic Plugin
Misc: All the Ebow

Added that lowbrow album to my library. Sounds right up my alley, looking forward to listening. This arrangement sounds great. I really like the way it fills up at the ending, and also the tasty chord changes there.

Wow, very well done.  Excellent playing and recording quality.

This thing is just begging for an ultra compressed 80s hair ballad solo over it too.  Might kill the vibe for wedding ceremony entrance though!

Great work, nice vibes.

You're well ahead of schedule I'd say. Beautiful song, too.

This track is great! And I want to reiterate how cool this project is. I feel like you could release this as album as well. Songs to Wed to. The original is cool too!

Hope you like it!  We're finally getting around to recording the new record now after 8 years :X

Listen to the end of the original and you'll realize how hard it was for me not to make it an epic solo.  I did sneak in that descending harmony run from the original, cause I had to.

I appreciate it.  We met while I was on tour, we got engaged and the punk rock museum, this just felt like the right thing to do.

Plus whenever I need an excuse to play guitar, I can just say I'm writing music for the wedding and it's hard for her to say no to that (She also went to school for music engineering, so it's never a problem).
