Very exciting to have that with a Producer! There's a lot of things I enjoyed a lot about this track.
I love the hiss and lofi 8bitified guitar, and how it clears out when the drums enters. That was a cool effect. More generally, I really like the dynamics in this track, for instance how all instruments disappear and leave the clean guitar for a while.
The chorus melodies are definitely very orange drink. I like the use of clean arpeggios here and there. The noise layer at the end is very cool - how did you do that? Was that a fuzz pedal left to its device?
Crazy clouds over the highway! Fall is here!
This is nicely put together. Digging on the noise theme in the lyrics and also put into sound. Great tone on the guitar chords. Great chords too. Nice job!
Can’t get my stupid grin off my face watching your vids. Such good vibes.
Nice collab! Great point too about tendencies and breaking out of the comfort zone. Getting insights from a fresh set of ears on a project can really help with that. (It's one of my favorite things about the WB experience.)
Ten left indeed. Keep up the great work!
thumbs up for this production!!! I can hear the innovations. a very good song was born.
Love those old school "dry" drums. This is solid OrangeDrink material.

The ghost noises are courtesy of the Soma Ether! An electromagnetic receiver!
All those ideas were from Wave, the Producer! It was crazy for me!!!!!
What is the weather like out by you?

Thanks so much, had to bust out all my “weirdo jazzy chords” that next year I will learn the names of when I do that Michelmore class!!

Awwww, this is like the best comment of the month! Thank you!

Thank you, same to you! Yes, I have learned so much from everyone in WB, it’s such a great “music school” feeling (and just like school, I’m always late with my listening/replying homework )
Love those fall colors... Keep up the good work!
Thanks for all your support buddy! 10 LEFT!
This is nice, a classic OD combo.

I’m glad you can hear the difference! Thanks my friend!

DJIPPY DRUM COMMENTS MAKE ME WANT TO LIVE!!!!
Thanks so much DJIP! I put a mattress pad over the snare and 1/2 on the floor tom. I really tried hard to get those drum doubles tight!
RIP Ipakid
Welcome Ipaghost
Very good! Top notch guitars, drums, production and everything!
WOWZERS, thank you so much! You all are too kind, it makes it worth all the agony!
Awesome track and visuals! Love all the fall colors and the fuzz, 8 bit grit, drum fills.
Glad I came back to listen to some tracks I had missed because this track is fucking rad. That guitar tone in particular I love. If I remember correctly don't you have a baritone guitar and that's it? Those things just sound awesome if that's the case. The drums sound really excellent too and the use of noise in certain sections like you holding out that "I know" close to the 4 minute mark in your video layered with that noise adds so much grit.
Great story about working with producer, cool experience sounds like. The outcome is great, an OD song no doubt, but can hear some subtle differences probably wouldn't have been there otherwise I'm guessing, comments above call this out well. And after song ended, It's stuck in my head, a good thing! What a nice walk you went on too, beauty!
Looks like had a lot of fun with friends and great to try something new giving up some creative control. Glad I got to hear the Soma Ether in use, I was just reading about it.
