your guitar tone is always so glimmery beautiful with the reverb, but still so raw and gritty… pure perfection. this song overflows with that distilled sense of fierce living we all crave from your music. thank you once again! heart

wonderful. faved.

Love me some guitar riffs. My daughter is in NY and somebody has done a lot of thinking there over the weekend.

I know you do buddy! Same!

love the raw feel of this track.

always shine your light and pack extra batteries

Catchy.  If it ever actually snowed around here I would think of this song.  Love the video.  Simple but highly effective.

This is awesome! You have inspired me to start writing a snow themed song riffing on this lyrical idea. Hope you don't mind!

This gallopping bass riff is great. The progressive layering of the track is cool - like this guitar riff from 1:21 - it's a cool pattern that really adds to the rest.

I love when you turn on the lights and start a crazy party in front of your fridge. This just works ridiculously well! Going on top of the fridge! Bringing the energy! I suspect the temperature of that room ended up a few degrees higher than the rest of the house.

Hmmm, I wonder what Orange Drink thinks about when it snows...? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I like this one - has a nice seasonal crunch to it!

Nice one! I feel those tracks are more about the videos than the music itself, but at least it's def a recognizable Orange Drink track.

Also: solid fridge! Could fit a dead body no problem

I really love that intro. Your reverby guitar sounds so good! I like when you kick it up with that drum groove, and then again with that sort of vocal guitar riff around 1:06. Really cool use of adding elements in one by one so that by the end the sound is massive.

Strange, I think about you all the time regardless of weather
Really love this form, simple guitar, lovely voice

you are so AWESOME with your encouraging comments.  I aspire to be a guitarist halfway between surf rock and punk rock so thank you for your validation.  wow “sense of fierce living” - i don’t think i (drew) really know how to do that, but Orange Drink the band knows, so i also crave it!

PERFECT!  I also get “wireless contact charging” from other LIT people smile
love this band picture, who are they?  that’s EXACTLY the feel of what this song is supposed to be EVEN DOWN to the size of the drum kit!!!!!!! (no mounted toms=perfection)

smile Glad you like the video, sometimes I just don’t want to have an overly complicated headache, but I never want to be “low effort”

thanks for saying “gallop” i was trying to gallop.  glad you like the “off set” riff!

lol the concept was “live show, but it takes place where the intro takes place”

thank you so kindly!  i do that slow build a lot, but it’s always kind of makes it a composition with few parts really dramatic.  i guess it’s “elementary” in the sense that it’s A+B+C+D+E+F but i don’t know, it’s fun!

thanks, I worry sometimes that simple = boring or low-effort but I am glad that it can come across as “effective and to the point”

Thanks all!

I believe that is refused from epitaph records.

love the energy you put into this, simple lyrics but so effective and true, there is something about when it snows, always love watching the snow fall.

This was a really cool track! Really demonstrates how it's possible to get so much mileage out of a single lyric by evolving the progression of the song and giving the lyric multiple vocal iterations to keep it sounding fresh throughout. I suppose I have no excuse to add more vocals to my tracks when I can't come up with lyrics, I'll just have to remind myself "Orangedrink wrote a single line and made it work" haha.

Excellent feel good vibes from that sweet sounding guitar.  It has such a nice tone to it.  The drum fills are toight and the vocal harmonies super catchy.  Well done!

yer tone is so lovely

Finally came back here to listen to the track! like the grungy experience here. Love that you take the time to bash drums on many of your tracks this year...

yes!
