sounds excellent. I really like this type of simple percussive harmony. distant pads coming in around 2:45 are excellent as well.

how do you like Vortices? I just found out about it earlier today. seems very useful.

The rhythm was really cool, but I also liked when it dropped out and it felt like we were free-floating for a while.

a smooth jam. like exotic rhythm and the slow ending. well done.

so much to get lost in with these rhythms and textures, such a good mix expertly structured heart

Love the “tribal” percussion on this, initially get the feel like something like orbital is about to develop, but then we get the washes of distorted synths and know we are in for a rdomain track, great stuff.

I am reminded of the Dune movie. I am not sure the soundtrack is in any way close but the general atmosphere of the track evokes these strange lands. The percussion of the first movement and then the slow pads of the second section.

I really like Vortices!  Lots of mixing possibilities in a small footprint.  Sounds nice too.

Thanks for the listen and comparison!   I'd like to revisit the remake at some stage.  Lots of cool sound design.
