You went dark with it this week! I don't know if I've ever felt this much fear watching a video of a deer before. ![]()
I was scared the visitors were watching from outside at the end
Also the mystique of this took me back to NIN's year zero promos where that giant hand figure drops out of the sky. That same level of jaw dropping goosebumpiness. \m/
Siiiiiiiiiiick. Very very ominous type-beat. Yet oddly calming.
I once went and saw a horror movie (very much not my thing) on a date. It scared me for days.
The whole drive home I was certain that something bad was going to happen at every intersection.
Matter of fact, I was so sure that I had kinda accepted it and it felt oddly peaceful?
Anyway, I guess I was going to say this ominousness but calming quality of this track reminded me of that.
Great stuff!
damn, that ruled!!! super well paired with the video too. great detail with the closing shot of the hidden camera capturing your photo shoot. I'm such a sucker for "photographs of people taking photographs", and you were able to make it into something so much darker. badass.

I feel special because I watched the orange drink news video a few days ago when it came out, lol....
Even with your well documented genre hopping this felt like a stylistic departure. I think the video contributed to that feeling. The music and the imagery created a very unsettling feeling and definitely gave horror vibes.
also, the fans (me) demand (request) more full band content (videos)!
