VIBING on this one. That hihat like short synth and the hiccuping animal make for a great soundscape. Starting the week well with some orange drink!

I love the little reversed swells at the start.

It feels so frantic around 1:30, then slows down into a nice groove right after.  It's like a toddler coming down from a sugar-high!

The slowdown was unexpected, but cool.  Dig the high-pitched blooping noise.

Super catchy. Love the downtempo shift toward the end - classic Orange Drink! big_smile

COOL KID SQUAD:
This is your notification to let you know that I answered one of your questions: FINALLY!  Thanks for submitting a question heart

You are the cool kid!

This is really cool that you did take the time to do this Q&A. Thanks.

Ahaha I just watched before I saw this tag! thanks for answering!

the track is dope! The best part for me is the wavy synth in the beginning coupled with a bit of polyrhythm feel with the different percussive elements in the first part just before the filter starts kicking in. Cool use of the slowdown and bitcrush to kill the energy and the come back with the loud part after the filter (25:13 on youtube to be clear). not a big fan in general of filter sweeps over the entire track. this track feels more polished than the tracks I heard earlier in the year (I took a pretty long break from WB both listening and submitting, sorry!) so kudos for your continued progress on the octa et al. great job! keep it up! heart

beep beep boop boop boop!

hell yeah, new track is very fun and great energy!

and enjoyed watching the Q&A with morning coffee today. thanks for taking the time to do that. wild that we've never met in person, but i feel like i know you better than a lot of my IRL friends. appreciate that you share so much with all of us.

follow up question: does your neck ever hurt from headbanging/ dancing, or is it just like "yeah, that's what my human does. ope, here he goes again!"
i'll take my answer off the air  big_smile

I normally don’t like tempo changes but from the start it’s good and when it slows down it hits real nice.

I'm not sure if I am the only one, but the opening tone made me think of the boot up music for the PS1 which really coloured how I listened to this...like a track that would be in Wipeout or something.  Loved the super chill breakdown towards the end, nice one.

160 BPM, letsgo big_smile

The beginning made me think first that something is broken lol. Fun track smile

Oh, that slowdown was unexpected and tasty. And when the kick came back in? Instant vibe.

Nice vibe! Although the tempo is much higher on this but this reminded me of Boards of Canada for some reason. Loved the tempo change and beats at 2:00!

hi orange drink!
thank you for answering my technical quayschtions!
yay i use a church-esque reverb too on my pianer.  yay!
love the beat on this week's track.. the lil high pitch percussive element with that "be-doh-bloop" part hooked me right away and had me doing "safe" dance moves.  Oooh the slowed down be-doh-bloops are extraaa appreciated.  Yay 500! Yay Ableton! Yay Weekly Beats! YAYers!

High energy. Just like you!

Watched the video before the notification and was really surprised to see my question in the video! Thanks!
Love the slow part of this week's beat! The way the track built up to end like that was very satisfying!

Very cool! High energy and warm sounds. I felt myself drifting and relaxing listening

A nice ebb and flow in the sonic waves.
