Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

That guitar sound! Yeah, that's the way to do it. I like that track, with the vocal harmonies and the indie rock vibe. The fast guitar lick around 1:56 onwards. Nice one to start the year! Looking forward to more tracks!

Yep. OK. So this is the energy and vocal performance I "wanted" my beat to have... thanks for reminding me how superior you are at just doing... well... everything. A weekly video? I'll rise to that. Does it count if I get the video for Week 1 done this week? I could at least show some "performance" elements to how I made the track with the guitar/midi keyboard etc hahaha. But for your track - it's so... SO... OrangeDrink. And that's what makes it amazing. Never stop being you dude. Nailed it. The chiptune, the drums, the video, the lyrics, the singing of the lyrics, the guitar... wow. I felt every second of that tune. Bravo. WELCOME TO 2022!

Great song and I especially loved the part when the high-energy arps kicked in. Fantastic singing as well. You're setting the bar for 2022 very high in week 1, especially with videos added on top. I don't think I'm going to get anywhere near that ambitious, but you're making me want to step up my game for sure.

Good job, constant rhythmic element. I like the straightforwardness of it. The guitar sound with tremolo is very retro and cool.

Great to see ya back! Checked out your livestreams last year and was throughly entertained. Love the idea of making a video each week for the tracks. I wish I could do that myself but it would be 90% of me troubleshooting software issues and failing to plug usb cables in correctly the fist ten times. Those are some nice KRKs ya got there

That's my husband! He was NOT supposed to be accessing the freezer during recording but it was a hilarious moment and I had to put it in! I don't think I'll be able to ride this high of a bar, but WB is just about showing up and seeing what happens, right?
