I keep hearing good things about Backrooms, sounds like I'll have to check it out! Hard to imagine a more glowing endorsement than a brand-new Orange Drink hit single. 😎

I like it. Haven't seen Backrooms other than trailer. This made me picture you in those weird spaces and worry that people forgot. But no one would forget! Wow, all on that one mic, sounds good, now I want one. I was happy when drums came in, flowing well, and that instrumental second half is sweet, love the guitar part.
Oh, and thanks for inspiring me to rap on my week 25 song Mr T Underoos ... you commented on week 22 and said you thought I might, so I was like, yeah that sounds fun!

Fantastic lyrics, when the drums drop in is just so good, had to rewind a few times, just when you think this can't get any better, the trumpet shows up.

This has the kind of "energetic but unsettled" vibe I associate with Soundgarden. I'm not sure what you're doing with the chords (chromatic mediants maybe?), but you've taken a bunch of sunny or calm pieces and made them land in off-kilter places. V appropriate to the inspiration. So is the circling in the vocal melody, with some madness-mantra feel to the way you're pushing your voice here. The drums fills feel like they're trying and failing to wake your narrator out of the loop. *Love* the tone on the bass and trumpet.
Lyrically, I wanna read this as a warning against isolating yourself in your obsessions. All the tapes and multitracks and loops might *feel* like human interaction, but they're increasingly degraded photocopies of the real thing. And even the song degrades in the end, just to drive the point home. Nice work!

I missed this one last week! Love how you worked those Backrooms ideas into it. And I REALLY like how you work trumpet into your songs. Been trying to figure out some ways to do that myself and haven’t gotten there yet

Awesome song right here. Unsettling and cathartic, all at once. Lyrics hit a bit hard lol
The guitar sounds beautiful, and I wasn't expecting that trumpet at all (it fits perfectly). Really loved the bitcrushed fade out
