damn, this is such a killer groove. i love the lows on that beat, and yes... always thrilled when JM makes an appearance   heart

That initial beat having some off-beat hits was SO GREAT! My brain was trying nonstop to get the beat right and I think I only got it right, like, once, hahahaha... The whole tune is super fun too, great energy throughout. I especially liked the use of those vocal samples. Great job!

Oh i get a NIN feel from this one. The industrial martial beat and the large warm synth. I think the coloring of the video is there too. How's the band going, and how do you approach reimagining some of these tracks through a 3 piece?

Full of anguish and torment.
- Raioh

The grit on the low part is so juicy

Love the reverb on the snare. Solid groove.

The beat is so good on this - like Kedbreak136 said, it has an almost industrial feeling. As the track builds it kind of opens up gets a bit of a chaotic feeling. Really cool one, love it!

OMG ORANGEDRINK HI FROM THE COMBINATION WEEKLY BEATS COMMENTARY AND MAHJONG STREAM! This beat is sick as hell!

Rhythmically I found that rather unsettling, especially at the beginning as you were layering it.  Understand I listen to Venetian Snares, Enduser and other experimental breakcore but there was just something in your beats here man.  It's rather fucking cool, almost punishing in a way I've never heard before.  Great track.

damn that beat is fascinating. so simple but unpredictable. great stuff.

Mmm, that beat is deliciously crunchy. It’d give Cap’n Crunch a run for his money. big_smile

That is one infectious beat, when that vocal chop drops in just elevates it to the next level, body can't resist moving listening to this one!

yeah love the groove and sounds, I was transfixed. The heat gives such good warmth and texture.

Ooof love when that bassy kick comes in over the first hypnotic groove.  Such a head nodder!  Oooh the JM tone sounds great too!  Like I'm surfin in slo-mo over all the bad stuff goings_onz.

Love the assembly of this beat - lurching forward, but evolves into an abolsute head nodder. Love the melodic thrust of the vocal chops, and the guitar sprinkled over the end was awesome organic spice. A jam!

feelin' this heart

sick beat! love those pitched vocal samples. I'm dancing over here

"How much distortion do I add?" - "Yes"

Ha ha, I’m glad it was a head scratcher - it was weird and then I got locked into it after listening to it on loop for hours on repeat!  Thanks!

Yes, very NIN, I can hear that now.  Almost like that whip on Mr. Self Destruct.  Thanks for noticing the color - that was a new thing for me.  I can always count on you to give PHD Film Analysis on my videos.  The band is going great, we are going to play our 7th show in December.  We’re using the Octatrack live to fill in some of the gaps!  I recorded an interview with the girls and that will be up next week (I think)

That is so flattering.  I really wanted it to be angry and scary and abusive, hence the language in the title.  And that means a lot coming from you - not only the type of music you enjoy, but the music you make.  Man.  Love this community!

Thanks!  Feels like it resonated with a lot of people so I feel really validated that I was able to communicate the emotion without a lot of complication

Thanks Jason!  Glad the vocal drop hit you, I wanted it to be a break from the assault, but a refresh in energy.

Thank you!  I am so glad I spent the billions of dollars for the Analog Heat +FX.  It’s not for everyone, but I think it’s exactly what I needed.  I appreciate your kind words.

TM Thanks for listening to my tracks even though I’m a bad friend and am behind on listens!
