DREW!
like i already felt kinda bad asking you to throw down for the song last week and after watching this i can't believe you said yes! and then delivered such inspired & inspiring performances. in awe of your talents, commitment, and KINDNESS.

oh - and this track is super dooper (WI shoutout) and it was really nice to see yr process. love how you are able to weave such cool vocal lines over your beats, and yes... i have to shout out the Jazzmaster heart

This is super inspiring!! Especially to those of us that sit down and aren't feeling in (which is me a lot of the time, heh)

aww gosh this is so inspiring.. love the behind the scenes process.. I wish I had your energy to film stuff but all that editing oh noes yikes but but you did it again this week!  Before the song was over.. paused right on the slow down cuz i had to hear those chords.. Love what you did and omgoodness you contributed so much to "rendered into rubble"  The trumpet melody ooof!  But yes now I'm inspired with some dark piano chords on that F#,G,A,B bassline..  Gave me some nin progression feels.  Feel free to email anytime and keep me updated on piano quest! go team! *freeze_frame_high_five*

Love the bass there.

Loved the collab as well that you did this week!

You rock, it is great to see all the work you put into this and I am very happy to be able to ear it. It was great to see the creative process as well with your vid.

Take care man!

this is a laid back nostalgic anthem!

also thanks for filming your struggle making this, its all too relatable

Cool to see the behind the scenes making of documentary, and once again I'm simultaneously left thinking you're a bit crazy for attempting to bite off more than you can chew and also impressed that you are able to pull it off.  Just when you were describing your plan, I thought it seemed super ambitious for when you're tired and not in the mood.  That seems like the perfect time to rattle off a drone or some short burst of noise (both of which can also be cool), but you went for lyrics on top of everything else.  I actually really like abstract lyrics sometimes.  And the alliteration was a nice touch.

Another great song!  You're so good at challenging yourself with new angles, new processes, new ways of doing things.  This has such a good build-up.

Ahh this is so great and playful. And sorta thought I was drunk suddenly at the end there in the best possible way lol. Wonderful track, thank you heart

good night frank! heart

good luck drew! heart

when you go like this do you crash for a day or two?

fascinating to watch this process & lovely result!

love hearing your voice (on 2 tracks this week!!!) and drum guitar interplay is mezmorizing

feelin' those lyrics

giving me a little bit of pinbackvibes

you ever get into them?

i do hope you ate a whole buch of good food and got some good rest!

So strange! I could swear I had listened to this track, watched this video in details and already reacted. But apparently no! I loved the documentary of the whole process and how the track comes to life, as if you were slowly conjuring it from the aether!

It's always a treat to get a glimpse at your process in real time. I'm a big fan of your style and hearing it come together piece by piece is so cool. big_smile That part about being exhausted but finally hitting the fun point of making the track is so relatable. Thanks for sharing - both the track and the video!

Whoa. You were right - that pitch-down WAS awesome. big_smile

Loved being able to see the writing process behind the song. I might copy that someday, haha. Love the song too, that guitar tone with the effects lays down an awesome atmosphere and the bassline is super smooth. I also really dug your vocals on this, that consistent rhythmic flow and repetition is a total ear worm with the layered harmonies. And I'm always a sucker so surprising switch ups like the pitched down second half. Your vocals on that part too were amazing and definitely my favorite, big mood.

As far as hell spawn goes, this one's rather pleasant.
