wow!  This is beautiful.  Hooked me from the powerful opening chords and drums.  The slide sounds soooo good. The lyrics hit home and especially enjoyed the blades of grass line.  The guitar strums and chord progression so soothing.  Thank you.  Glad to hear to ya back and look forward to your future tracks. Hey hey, no one is keeping score but you right, so the whole WB thing is only useful as long as you personally find it rewarding... growth comes when we challenge and push ourselves, but only if we have the space to recover from the exertion, and still have the motivation to learn from the experience.  It's all about finding that line right?  That said, I have definitely drop some "speed trash" tracks this year, that I 100% would not have put in front of others last year... and I think I got some lessons from it... though the WB community does seem to be the safest place on the internet for putting out a thing you might not be totally proud of. 

And while you may feel like you have a slide guitar problem... I don't see the problem, because it just sounds so nice, and just plays so well with your vocals, echos and extends the emotional expression of both the lyrics and the vocal melodies... and you know what they say... if it sounds good, it is good.
