I really like the chorus in this song! and well everything around it too, the guitar solo is really like psychadelic and adds to the surf kinda aesthetic to the song. COOL

I love it. The vocals are so good. and great positive vibes! heart

Oh, this is definitely a new all-time favorite. It packs a punch and a powerful message, and I'm here for it. Stunningly good stuff.
(Bonus points for that harmonics solo at the bridge and the abrupt cutoff at the end!)

yes

The super closeups take me to one of the Fragile era NIN song video

Cool alt rock track! That's my jam! Blasting the music in the car on a long drive.

AND THAT SOLO! WITH THE FEEDBACK! THIS IS ME PLAYING LIVE!!! (except it's even more epic with a Zvex FuzzFactory).

Also I admire your dedication to the video - including the shower. A great theme!

Damn dude, this song is great and this video in particular feels like one of your best of the year. It looks like a ton of work went into it and I love the use of the microscope. I also liked how you had scene cuts where you're standing to the right singing and then the next cut is you on the left rocking out on the guitar right as it becomes the prominent part in the song. The guitar solo was very 1990's Beck-esqe in its attitude and experimentation. The abrupt end is perfect too. I love the lyrics and totally relate, especially to the bald spot, stomach fat, and double chin. I have a beard but I'm also kind of insecure about how it's red/blonde color tends to make it look thin. accckkkk. Mad props for putting yourself and your insecurities on display, it's inspiring.

Solid videoclip. Nice track. My little brother is not in peace with his body, didn

't know that before last year... This is such a "shame" that most of us doesn't feel good with how we look.

We all feel like this, thank you

all right. true talk.
love this honest pure indie music. especially the Thurston Moore like solo.

Great song and guitar solo! I was a little bit worried you'd brought the guitar into the shower smile

heart

This song goes hard with the guitar, and then falls off a cliff somehow?
And as stated before, body shaming is what people do to other people. If it's a self-image problem, it's body dysmorphia.

Awesome! heart
Big ups, much respect for making a song that's hard for you! You are brave, and awesome and just right!
This song feels strong and good. I loove the guitar solo!

Drew, love the vocal style! Cool proto-punk garage sound! The guitar is massive.

That guitar solo is awesome, great lyrics and great video to deliver the message, serious subject but delivered with fun and some laughter.

Super catchy chorus that had me "body shame"ing along. This gave me some Weezer Blue album feels with the cool punk sound.  That feedback solo \m/

So glad you liked the solo!  it was a one-take-one-shot deal so I’m glad it didn’t ruin the song!

thank you so much AM - glad you felt the positivity in confronting the shame!

YO thanks so much - I fade out like 90% of my tunes so it’s a challenge to find out how to end with a creative impact smile

I responded on YT but here is a custom response:

I want some footage of you playing live one of these days!  Maybe we’ll make a band video of us playing instruments and I’ll piece it together.

Thanks it WAS indeed a ton of work.  I’m so glad you caught the guitar coming in during that portion.  It was a last minute idea and I was really really really excited with how it looked when the guitar just magically appeared out of nowhere.  Shoutouts to Beck, a top 5 inspiration for SURE.

Thanks for sharing your story - I’m glad this resonated with you.  I have to say it was really scary to show all that kind of stuff on camera, but it certainly helped me realize how “natural” all of this is.  I literally have a body and this is literally what it looks like.  What’s the problem?  Also, everyone has been so supportive - it really does help me understand myself more.  It’s your body, not much you can do about it!  And, there’s no real reason to, right??

Sorry to hear about your little brother, but I think it’s a good thing that you two have had that conversation - hopefully he knows that you are someone that he can talk to about his feelings.  Thanks for watching!

HA!  Glad some people are feeling the guitar solo because it’s kinda…….wild

Thank you for your kind words - we are all just right!

Flattered to get a compliment on the vocal style!  It was a weird shout/talk/yelp style.  I didn’t want to double-track the guitar because I was tired, but I’m glad I did!

Thanks!  I’m glad you got the serious/fun combo - I think I certainly needed it to temper my anxiety about doing this. smile
