Another one-guitar track, using the $60 Univox Coily in modified Fahey tuning. It's a slight deviation from the recent straight-into-the-converter practice, though: I just got a Reuss Effects Understate, and all tracks are going through it. (In retrospect, I should have done just one of the tracks through the Understate, but new-pedal-mania is a thing.) The Understate sounds glorious through an amp, though here it's direct, so the effect is a little less obvious than it would be with an amp involved. I used three tracks through most of this piece, though late in the piece there's an additional line that gets its own track. As usual, a bit of convolution reverb and compression/eq on the stereo bus.

After I uploaded, I found a slight crackle in one of the tracks in that four-track section (starting at 2:12), so I re-tracked it: it turned out to be my thumb pressing a string just low enough to contact a pickup. So now that's clean.

It does seem to have a different presence, more grounded or something. Love hearing your guitar playing!

sign me up for atmostpheric guitar music any day

perfection through minimalism, love this one!

Nice fair play between the 3 track, they complement each other to one whole big thing. Very gentle playing too. Very very good

Chill and relaxing.

well now i wanna hear it through the amp, cuz this sounds so lovely!
perfect atmosphere for this rainy overcast morning.

I Like the slightly westerny twang that peaks out here and there. The melody break at 1:00 is just beautiful.
