No True Scotsman

A quick Black Thrash number this week, meant to be a pastiche tribute to the classic Absu, but not spot on for that, kind of ended up a bit more Destroyer 666 than that, but happy enough.

Finally got my Marshall JVM410 to sound ok, proving even an amp I dislike has a sound in it, I just had to find the song that worked for the sound.

Wow that was intense. The drums are a monster! I love the solo from 2:20 starting with a slayer-like scream. Great job, super thrashy and intense!

Dude, this song fucking rips!  I'm curious, do you come up with your riffs first, or put down your drums first?  The drums are all digital, and the guitar is you playing a real guitar, right?  You must come up with the guitar first, then match the drums to it?  The drums and guitar are just so synched up and tight

It is (almost) all in the fingers... wink

rocking track again.

Hey Dude, yep, guitar scratch track done from my phone riffs, then write some drums over that. Track guitars properly, then bass, quick mix and smash it out by Sunday arvo

It's really impressive.  I assume you just play the guitar riffs along to a metronome?  Your stuff always sounds so tight.  Any plans for vocals on this?  Or any of your others?

Cheers very much :-) Its just that I play a lot of guitar lol, work in a guitar shop and 20 years of underground extreme metal bands.

I can never be bothered with vocals, but have once or twice,
