Kustom Thrash

New Amp Day!!!! Got an amazing deal on a real oddball amp, and it has a vinyl plush cushion on its front. Best thing EVA!!! lol

The Kustom 72 Hard Top Coupe popped up and I couldn't resist. It has a particular snarl that I dig for a thrash tune, so I whacked one together quickly, and for interests sake I didn't change EQ on the amp between the 2 guitar tracks, just chose a mid heavy overdrive, and a fatter low end drive to see what it did to the main dirt sound. So the only difference between left and right is the pedal. And finally a chance to show off my swirl Jackson, who as a brand are really hitting the modern thrash market pretty well.

1. Way Huge Green Rhino. A quite interesting tube screamer variant, with a non standard mid focus.
2. Ibanez BB9 Bottom Booster. A discontinued Tube Screamer with low end push, not mid range as usual.

Wow, that tone is beautifully nasty!

Sick tone. I like how the tone of the bass and of the guitar merge so well to get that full aggressive sound. Very nice kick tone as well, tight yet with good body. The lead at 1:24, reminds me of Kerry King style! Good thrashing!

I reckon you could do these juxtapositions more often, it's pretty nice even if the panning is maybe a bit too strong.
