Dismembered

By Nyarlos on March 22, 2020 9:21 pm

Had 2 weeks of failures, bit off more than I could chew and it wasn't fun, so I didn't upload. So, to get back on the horse, I got out my HM-2 Clone and just had fun writing a total knock off of Dismember's 95 album Massive Killing Capacity. Tried all the Swedish death metal tropes, slow bits, harmonies, skank beats the whole deal. Just really tried to write a tune that I would have loved when I was 15.

Amp choice was interesting this week, getting the right chainsaw tone took a bit of experimentation, till I got out my Laney Ironheart 15, then it all came together, then dime evry knob on the HM-2, there we go. Probably should have tuned down, but couldnt be stuffed, so just my 2 Ibanez's crunching out. Wanted a nasty wah lead too, so remembered my Ibanez Weeping Demon, cause that thing fucked up. Sweet.

Simple, fun and full of cheese, that's how I roll

Nothing wrong with full metal cheese.

Nice solo playing. Is that a recorded drum or is that samples?
Ah the big death metal riff at three quarter of the song, with the tremolo picking guitars!
