Crack Rock

Fuzz!! Im not a fuzz guy, but have acquired more than a few, so what to do? Tune low and play slow. Not quite stoner rock, not quite acid rock, so....it's Crack Rock.

Pedals for today:
The DOOM preamp: A pedal I built off the Sunn Beta Lead amplifier preamp, it does things to fuzz pedals. It just makes them fat but tight, thick but present, its fantastic at being pushed around by fuzzy bois.
Way Huge Havalina: Both sharper and flabbier, but it tightens up when into the DOOM.
Big Muff: Still the real deal. Classics are classics lol.
Danelectro Cool Cat Fuzz: Love all these Danelectro Pedals, they are cheap, and always work for what I need.
MXR Micro Flanger: Needed the spacey middle and lead section, and flange seemed the Crack Rock way.

Very fuzzy! Sounds great!

Came for the riffs, stayed for the tones. Or is it the other way around? I dig the fuzz.

As much as I dig your metal stuff for what it is (not being as metal-inclined as yourself), this vibe is more up my alley, and the overall sounds are well defined, definitely highlighting your producing prowess over the fledgling 'just use the presets' approach I mostly use tongue

Some thicc riffs n tonez, and I quite like how it does that... thing... the thing where it kinda changes to a swing or offbeat thingy? *shrug*

Hard and/or heavy.

Oh yeah! Fuzz heaven! I got the same orange Fuzz pedal. If you are interested in feeling bad owning yet another fuzz pedal, you absolutely have to get the Fuzz Factory - not just a Fuzz pedal but a wild stallion noise machine as well.

HEAVY RIFFAGE on this track. Those riffs are huge, the artifical harmonics are evil! It's like early Machine head meeting sludge. The lead tone from 4:00 again takes me back to early Machine Head. Super cool tone you got there! I guess now I need to check out that Doom preamp. The sound is really sick.

Missed that one last week, I quite like that abuse of saturation paired with the powerful slow beats... That is a thick sound, and well mixed as I do hear all instruments fine. Well done!

Dont worry, the Fuzz Factory will be there eventually, lol I built one of those a few ago. The Doom Pre is also a build job, but if you know how to solder, you can build one CHEAP!
