Light Blue Falcon

I just got a new Moog Grandmother semi-modular analog this week so I wanted to dive into things with this track. All synth sounds are from the Grandmother which when I laid hands on it, had a very goth sound, so I went with it and created a goth-like track.  The Grandmother has a built in spring reverb which begs for an old dreary sound.  Also, the whispy snare and synth tom fills are coming from the white noise on the Grandmother lending a very 80s sound.

This week, I did not have a lot of time and actually I am on a conference call right at this moment as my agency is launching a large ecommerce website at 7 PM ET, Sunday.  We're all on the line and I keep muting to check the mix and have 12 minutes to upload.  Exciting stuff on both sides of the spectrum.

I give the new Moog Grandmother two thumbs up and 5 stars so far.  Relatively inexpensive but a great sound with lots of options. More to come from it this year, I'm sure.  Hope you are all well and enjoy the track!

Yeah totally goth man.  I'm not familiar with the Moog Grandmother per se, but have been very impressed with all the moogs I have heard.  Sounds like a sweet synth.

Full of darkness and energy. P{owerful}.

Congrats on your new synth. Great 80s goth vibe in this excellent track. Well done!

I definitly second that!
You are singing? These vocals adding a nice vibe!

+1 to the vocal vibe... this is fantastic!  doesn't sound like a rush job at all.  you really capture that dark 80s sound

Slick, well done.

Yes. Loving this vibe, great synth sounds and the vox make it hot. Congrats on the synth - it communicated its goth desires to you well.

It's fun stuff if you like lots of knob twisting and sharp filtering.

Thanks! Having fun with it and have separation anxiety when having to leave it behind for work, sleep, bathroom breaks sad

Thanks! I think it's really just a rush on the vocals because I should put more thought and practice into it.

Thanks! I didn't screw up the mix too much this week, always more opportunities and weeks in the year.
