I moved up from using two mics to record drums(1 overhead and one on the bass drum) to a matched pair of small condensers(stereo overheads), a nice bass drum mic, and an SM57 on the snare. It has been an excellent learning experience for me. Ive found good mic placement to cancel phase issues in my small-ish studio area. Lotsa experimentation!!!

Anyway... here an LSDJ track with live drums, guitar, and other goodies.

That's cool.

It could use a consistent instrument in the higher registers, that arp at the end for instance.
