Waking up

I recently saw an update to Paulstretch had become available, so I decided to combine my experiments with VCV Rack with the new Paulstretch, which I had used extensively in the last WeeklyBeats outing.
I started again by creating a VCV Rack patch, this time focusing on experimenting with a sampler module to create a textural patch. After recording a short sample of the patch, I took the recording into PaulStretch 3. After some time experimenting with the settings and parameters, I created a stretched file. The file was a little quiet, so I took the stretched file into Audacity to normalize and to split the stereo track, so I could mix the file in Reason.
I also decided to experiment with an original Grains patch, so I created a small sample of the stretched track to take into the Grain instrument in Reason.
I took the split stereo file into Reason, hard panned the tracks and sent the panned tracks into a bus track to mix. Afterwards, I created a Grain instrument and programmed it with the sample I had made earlier of the stretched track. The Insert FX of this Grain instrument was 3 LeSpace effects. I recorded a some chordal notes to a MIDI track to go along with the stretched track.
I created an instance of NN-XT with a Vibraphone sample halfway through the track. I used two instances of the Note Echo players, to process the incoming MIDI signals, then recorded a MIDI track. The Insert FX for the NN-XT track were a Synchronus and The Echo.
I mixed and equalized the tracks, and added a RV7000 mk2 to the Main mixer Insert FX. For the Mastering FX, I used aMastering combinator.
