the heavy (acid daddy live)

Another bass station 2 - Norand mono - Digitakt performance this week. Nope, still haven't filmed it, don't have the time - figure I'll get three of these maybe and film a little short set.

Hologram Microcosm gets a feature during the drop, and the BS2 is on the high arp - mono on the bass. Zoia doing zoia things. Actually I need to start a new zoia patch this one is starting to feel its limitations.

Listening like right now I think some of the synths are a little loud but it's working, it is what it is. Levelled up my mastering this week but couldn't apply my new skills here cuz of some software issues. Apple is challenging.

Thanks again to everyone with the feedback and fun comments on last week's track - that was really a step up for me and I'm looking forward to chasing the good stuff on that track.

Stay frosty, sparky.

Classic techno!

I’m enjoying the mix, it’s punchy and fat, and those arps are just dancing over the top. Great track.

I REALLY like the high pitch arps that come in at 1:00 and keep building. Super nicely done. Listening to people's submissions on weekky beats this year has shown me that I really really like acid-style edm, which I didn't know about myself. So thanks for making great music ❤️

Really digging the sound design through out especially when you get deep into "Lazer Country", love me some high resonance filters.  ヾ(´▽`;)ゝ

this. sounds. so. GOOOOOOOOOD

Love this groove, very exciting

great groove! i like when it gets big. great track

The arps are niiice. I love how this builds and is just an energetic jam the whole way through.

Very oldschool techno vibe, i like it!

Acid is one of those special kinds of ear candy that really hits a lot of those juicy combinations of beat and frequency and bass. I had no idea I actually liked making acid-style edm, ironically - turns out it's that perfect combination of sound design and synthesis and live performance to hit all the right places for something I wanna make lol.

Thanks! I love me some arms. I need to work on my arrangement and "build" a little differently I think, but it's fun.

That 909 hits all the right nostalgic notes! Thank you!

All the synths are playing really nicely here.  Sounds like they have their own place in the mix.  The track doesn't sit still for too long too unlike some techno style tracks.  Nice work!
