It's like finding a long forgotten tape in a shoebox and pressing play on it, those nostalgic better times...you pretty much nailed it.  Loved the calmness of it as much as I loved the dirty tape vibe, very nice.

It feels like every effect is just so thoughtfully placed to fill up the sound stage... That Jermey Blake influence is showing through in just the best possible ways.  Stoked to hear your upcoming release... I have a feeling it's gonna be a good year.

Add the "space-ambient" genre description and that set an expectation of disassociated coldness, of some dark indifference. This is not that. This is warm and embracing, this feels personal and deliberate. If those are frozen tides, then there must be a tiny hut close by. A tiny hut with a fireplace inside, doing all it can to hold back the frost.
