Pluck It

I don't really have words... this week 90% sucked... I really just didn't have much to spare... so here's some speedtrash... I'm glad I sat down and made it, and I hope next week is at least a little less bullshit than this week...

here's to less bullshit.
this sounds really nice!

Here's to the 10% that didn't suck!

I love these spacious plucks. Really nice layering and lovely chord progression.

yes to less bullshit, anything that gets in the way of making music. Turned out great for a quick turnaround. Nice delays and reverby melodies.

Love the chord progression and how the melody dances around it with those choral voices supporting it. The bubbling feel of the melody is extra pleasing too.  This is an awesome response to da bullshit.  Here's to next week being mucho better and rid of bullshit! heart

I really like the emotional expression of this piece. Best wishes for things to get better this week!

Enjoying the chord progression, and what sounds like pinged resonant filters? Great timbre on this track. Feels dark, maybe matching the unwelcome troubles of this week. Hoping next week is better.

It's beautiful! So much space and atmosphere. Speedtrash is treasure. Gold for future music. Embrace the speedtrash. Hug and love the trash. Lick it. This was delicious.

Seriously this was lovely lol

love this a lot. really pretty!

Looking forward to less bullshit in the world!
Cool contrast of the pads with the percussive layers. That melodic layer is very nice, with the ping pong effect. Great to enjoy on headphones. That was a really nice speedtrash!

Really beautiful and well thought out. Doesn't come off as speed trash at all.
Here's to better times and less bullshit friend! heart

And you know the 10% that didn't suck... was pretty good. I'm really glad you liked the plucks. It's from the Piano Colors VST... super inspiring plugin.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. Everything sounds better with reverb!

Thanks so much! Those choral voices are actually Pharlight. Because who would I even be if I didn't use a granular synth in my speedtrash? ( ಠ‿<)

Actually no pinged filters here! The timbre is coming from Piano Colors, I just used one of the sequenced presets to get that plucky sound. But I'm glad it matched the vibe. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks! That ping pong effect is honestly just a Glaze 2 patch, mostly just leaning on presets for this one so I can't claim any fancy work there, but I'm glad it translated well!
