Bluest Sky

Well, that's a wrap folks... we did it!!... too crazy... this year absolutely flew by.  And, while I am VERY much looking forward to slowing down my musical output a touch, I medium amazed that I don't feel burnt out really at all.  It was a ton of work to be sure... but man what an experience this has been.  I'm gonna make a real effort to do the rounds and listen to as much as I can over the next couple weeks for sure. It has been a time...

And so, I started this year with a wondering, vaguely narrative, reverby solo piano piece, and I felt like I needed the symmetry of ending the year with the same kind of thing.  I feel like I have really learned a ton since January, about my tools, my processes, and music making in general, and I kind like having "before" and "after" pieces to juxtapose and really see how far I have come.

Thanks so much for all the kind words, tips, advice, well wishes through out the year.  I will for sure be checking in, and catching up on the many weeks of listening that I feel like I missed over the past few months.  It has been a hell of ride... but again... WE DID IT!!!!

That was quite beautiful, hit me a little emotionally as well.  I've enjoyed listening to the variety of your music throughout the year, if you're back for 2026 I really look forward to hearing more.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. What a lovely end to the year.

Congrats on finishing out the year! Its been an honour and a pleasure listening to your music and connecting with you. Be sure to reach out in 2025 I look forward to hearing more of your music heart heart heart

Yeah, that's exactly the kind of retrospective delicate piece that's great for the final track. No notes, five stars. End credits roll. We contemplate what was lost and what was gained. WB24 is over. We did it!

Hope 2025 treats you well!

This is super duper pretty... You already know I'm a sucker for sentimental reverb-soaked piano-sounding pieces, so this is my JAM 1000%.

I'm super proud of you not letting yourself get burnt out, that's an impressive feat. Congrats!!! And congrats on reaching the end!!!!! Your kind words are also always very much appreciated, so thanks for being such a cool musical buddy here on WB smile

Hope 2025 treats you well, friend!!!!

BUDDY

i keep coming back to this beautiful song and just haven't had the right words.
it feels... somehow timeless, and rooted in the moment at the same time.
a perfect encapsulation of WB2024.

your music and kindness has had a big impact on me this year. i love that we were able to collaborate and i'm super proud of those tracks - particularly 'for you to hold.' that whole experience really helped set the tone for the rest of the year for me, and gave me some invaluable tools that i use with every mix now.

THANK YOU.

i know we'll keep in touch, and i am super excited to hear what you go on to create. don't be a stranger!

What a beautiful song. A fitting last track for WB24 - sounds like an outro, "end-credits" track. Congrats on an amazing year of music and wishing you a happy 2025.

So pretty! I can just close my eyes and let this carry me along all day. Yeah, like and end credits song, a moment to reflect on the bigness of what has been accomplished and moment of calm before what comes next!
I enjoyed hearing your music this year and hearing about your process, and the collaborations. Thanks for being here and sharing the music! I relate to you thoughts about the experience. It has been a time indeed!
Have a wonderful 2025, hope you hear you back in 2026!

We made it heart A return feels like good place to end things for the year. Very sentimental. It's been nice hearing your submissions smile
