PATCH_FROM_SCRATCH

By mzunguko on July 15, 2024 12:01 am

Well this week had some issues, tried a live, patch from scratch performance recording of a small 62HP modular featuring Noise Engineering LIP and Perkons. Had some equipment/lighting issues, no video editing software etc. I managed to get something recorded and synced with some last minute Amazon same day delivery. Alas, When I had everything "ready", couldn't get it uploaded to a freshly made youtube channel and wasn't paying attention to the file size. Long story short I missed the deadline by 6 minutes. I did manage to get a new upload link so here it is.  The audio clip is a smaller version of the patch. While the result is not what was intended I did like the pressure to try and get some video done as well, makes me appreciate those that do manage to get it all done in a week. I will be working on this some more, probably get some better lighting for the future.

The full version of the patch can be seen below, considering I have never even attempted something like this, I still call it a success.

Thanks again for listening.

this is a really fun bouncey track!
in case you didn't know, the music doesn't start playing till around the 10 minute mark  smile

anyone stopping by, make sure to skip ahead (or take a 10 minute breather, we could all use that eh?). it's worth the wait!

Yeah I was just getting everything setup so hit records with an empty patch and was a bit slow getting everything going. Definitely need more practice. It’s also why I was a bit late because the recording was so large. Thanks for stopping by.
