Big City Girl to a Small Town

By lhrin on July 23, 2024 8:35 pm

I grew up in a big city. In the 60's we did ride our bikes everywhere. It feels too risky for kids to do that now but it was a great part of growing up. I loved the state I lived in but as it became much more populated the big city life started to lose it's appeal. It was time for me to make new memories and a small town felt right. There are many tradeoffs and I think you mostly just need to enjoy where you are now.

Hmmmm. I guess I'd have to concur. smile Great song. Worded very nicely. It reads well as if it were just a poem, but the arrangement works really well too.

love the vocal harmony and flute on this!
