Back at it with another Digitakt2, Virus Ti2 combo. This week I added a small 104Hp Processing modular skiff centered around Instruo Arbhar granular processor, Lubadh a Tape emulation looper, Noise Engineering stereo filter, and the original Chase Bliss Mood pedal. Had a bunch of fun creating textures, sounds, and all the vocal processing was done through this little processing skiff then resampled into the Digitakt.

I am getting back to regular activities, just haven't had a chance to get back to responding to all your comments. I am so glad you stopped by and I do truly appreciate all the support. The headache I have had since the trip to the ER has finally abated and I am so thankful for that.

Still working out the workflow/mixing kinks but sticking with the format for a bit. Thanks for the continued support!

There are beautiful sounds and many little nice details in here. The overall mood is calming and dreamy. I went to see what the Lubadh is and I think it is a very interesting cool pedal. Congratulations

This creates a very chilled out vibe and is nice to relax to.  Glad to hear you're finally feeling better!

Love that kick sound again, it just hits so nice in the mix with the synths.  That dark bassy synth with the vocals sounds great.  The floaty pads over top really makes this a calming groove.  Glad to hear you're on the up and feeling better!

this sounds to my like the skies clearing after the bad headache lifts. i really like all the details.
very tidy mix. may you continue to feel better.
peace heart

Very cool track, the low end has so much oomph and width! Was the stereo imaging coming from the modular skiff mostly? Or was Digitakt 2 working that as well? The vocal chops and arrangement are pristine, really love the way the voices drift into each other.

I really love the Lubadh, need some more time with the latest version as it has a lot to offer.

Thanks, it has been slow going but the BP is coming down not quite in a healthy range but not in the extreme danger zone.

I do love a punchy kick. The pads was my sons input, we didn't have time to start a track but when he listened he said it needs a pad.

I haven't really found a great mixing workflow on the Digitakt, but I have many hours under my DT770 headphones that seem to get me close enough to something I can tolerate, I do have to twiddle the sounds much more as I don't really have a per channel eq like fabfilter, but it works good enough.

Most of the stereo imaging is coming from the virus patch through the modular stereo filter. I do like the chorus on the Digitakt 2 to give it a bit more width as well once I resample the patch into the Digitakt. The vocals were done using both decks of the Lubadh and modulating between them using a slow lfo. Glad you enjoyed.

Awesome sounds throughout. I was drifting away and that kick comes in strong to the chest like a heartbeat to carry us on, felt so good. Yeah really great sounds, full and rich. Cool to read about your gear and process you used. Evolves and deepens with those awesome vocal samples, so good.
