FRESH_LIMES

By mzunguko on April 14, 2024 10:23 pm

I was really thinking this week about having never met my biological father. I know my true father has always been with me, so off we go.

Wanted to make my first Amapiano rhythm track. Started of programming some perc in an Ableton Drum Rack and a separate rack for drums. Four to the floor kick (EA-SKI sample) add some chords, add a log drum bass/sub and off we go. Track almost done now need to find some samples to fit my theme. Loved the digging and sculpting of this track, Hope you enjoy.

All that is wanted from all of us is love and grace.

I humbly give both.

freshest song ever or what?

I 100% agree, this is amazing!!!
Congrats, mzunguko, this sounds INCREDIBLY fresh and crisp. Lovely work you've done here. The vocals are just... Indescribably well placed and worked in this. Really nice, srsly.

Love the sound of the bass hits in this.  So thick!  Vocals fit nicely in the mix with the bass and beat.  Such a soulful sound throughout.

I love programming drums, ans since I don't have a good system for writing, recording, processing, and mixing I have found a love for finding vocal samples. I have a ton of vocal samples, that catch my ear.

Thanks so much, I am always trying to dial things in, but as a constant fiddler a week is a challenge for sure glad you liked it!

Thank you so much, this was a fun to put together. I love the sounds of this style. I will likely revisit this style throughout the year.

I like a good solid bass I am always concerned that I like it thick, but then I usually just go until it sounds good enough for a weeks work. I do listen on a bunch of headphones and it seems to be pretty transferable, I do like a fair bit of saturation.

wow this is glorious!
