week 20!

had to go on business trip so here's a rough finish of a track I started pretty early in the week for once but then work completely took over. That said, I’m happy with how crazy it sounds.

I was trying to create something a bit chaotic and difficult to follow and I knew I had succeeded when my friend said that it sounds like a robot being operated on.

The idea I wrote it to was someone in an abusive relationship, stumbling through life and trying to cope.

Great thematic work. Stumbly, chaotic, and unstable, yet entrancing. Nice job.

the frantic feel is appropriate to the heavy subject matter. i hope they get out heart

The synths sound great! Really cool groove going with the push and pull of the drums too \m/

That's a really cool lead sound, freaky in all the good ways.

This nails the intended theme. Great on stream, better on relisten.

thank you all for listening and taking the time to comment! its a harsh and strange one but I'm oddly pleased with it. I think it just hits my stupid brain in the right way

I love/hate how you achieved your goal at theme your chose.
Starting, it felt like it was going in the direction of an EDM banger (got Deadmau5 vibes), then, it "derails" and all hell breaks loose.
It results in an undanceable and unease-inducing track, congrats! (I mean it.)
