Hi gang.

I had high hopes for this week because I love synthwave. There are some parts that i like in this but I just didn't have the skill to make it come together in time.

You have to imagine cool drumfills, good mix and a more fleshed out chorus etc.

Big thanks to my buddy Enzo Sprigg for the lyric and vocals.

Very lightly touched up version on Soundcloud

Big synthwave vibes right out of the gate. And the vocals are just chefs kiss.

I don't have to imagine a good mix, this mix is _great_

I will be coming back to this for sure

Yeah, big same! Very nicely done here! The synthwave energy here is on point!

Feels nice

lovin the synthwave vibes.  mix sounds great to me.  Drums especially! Kudos to Enzo as well on vocals. Well done!

Oh, I actually like it a lot.  Drum fills might help, but also I don't think it needs anything.  This feels like the closing credits of some sappy 80s love movie, so I think you nailed it?  ;-)

Thank you, Enzo will love the praise!

That's very generous, thank you for listening and for the encouragement.

This is very well done. Receiving some very romantic vibes.

that snare is begging for gated reverb. sounds are all there though.

overwhelmingly kind of you. helps push through the struggles of getting the w5 track finished!

i got to be honest i thought i had gated the snare but must have forgotten in the rush. thank you for listening and commenting. means a lot

this makes me want to live in a John Hughes movie... awesome!

Really nice. Love the whole package with the vocals. Agree some drum fills could maybe level it up.

I made an 80s track earlier in the year and was able to find a huge collection of good ones on splice pretty easily. Watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials and none of their end results sounded as good

thanks for listening and the lovely comment. If I ever return to it I need to do deeper research but went with some quickly updated tomfills for the one I uploaded to Soundcloud at least. it's definitely something I want to get better at!
