This is great! I love that droning pad, that slowly driving bass, the karplus strong plucks, and that counterpoint synth part. This builds and swells quite nicely, with that tempo change (?) partway through bringing a nice change-up.
Nice little, track. Some good sounds in there. I do prefer the second part of the track more than the first. It has some more direction than the first half.
As you were trying to work on transitions, please permit me some feedback:
You move from one idea to the next, yes. But to my ears they don't sound connected in a musical sense. A good transition feels both logical and inevitable. Which is a lot easier said than done, I know. But your sections feel disjointed to me. The one transition I think you came closet to is around 2m50s with the riser. But I think risers are kind of cheat code. Not that there is anything wrong with them. But it's the riser that builds the transition, not the music. If you know what mean.
So I would highly recommend trying to build a musical bridge from one section to the next. Take away notes, let it slowly morph into a new idea. Build up tension so the pivot point feels like the release. But make them feel like they are a logical consequence of what came before. Anyway, that's how I think about it. Do with it what you will. Just though I'd point it out.
I hope not, this is quite nice and I hope there'll be more to come.

Thank you!
And I'll clearly try some of the stuff you said in a future track, always happy to learn and try new things, and constructive feedback like this really helps, so thanks ![]()
Very nice - great sound design as usual and I think things build flow together well.
