A Little Guitarthis

Further adventures with the Deluge, and per the title, Guitar + Catharsis.

Looping! Never, not once, used the Looping features on the Delly til the other day. I didn't bother setting up a foot pedal to control it, but should've. Some of my playing is shite because I was preoccupied with reaching over to end the phrase on time. Still fun tho.

The parts heard up til the drums come in were all using the looping feature. The panned build-djent guitars, I added in Arranger view, which lets you record freely over the whole arrangement.

Drums and tambourine are just Apple Loops, but exactly the vibe I had in mind. Ha - when I got the Delly, I bought two 256GB SD cards for it and, among other things, threw large portions of the Apple Loops library on there. Handy.

At some point I want to do some things closer to the range of San Holo and Fred Again..; I love San Holo's use of guitar and piano (especially his remixes for the Calm app), and I love Fred Again..'s use of voice recordings in Actual Life.... Porter Robinson... but, gah, A.G. Cook... anyway... This week it felt good to rock out a little.

Due to some unexpected eldercare duties and WATCHING CURLING, I spent the least time on this one of any of them, but I still really like it.

Thank you!
I used to do a lot of the guitaring and not nearly so much now… I’d like to change that.

i believe in you!

love all the interweaving guitar harmonies that build off each other.  The tone of the guitar itself sounds so good.  Kinda put me back in the 90s a bit, especially with that filter fade.  Like I'm having a nostaglic flashback.  Oooh the drums kick in just right too.  Also gave me some post rock feels ala Caspian towards the end.  Excellent work!

Love the vibes, this sounds like a Sunday morning were the sun shines through the curtains and there this one ray of direct light that illuminates the steam of your coffee

Thank you! There's a reason it gives you those nostalgic vibes... it's a POD 2.0 (!!!!) running into the Deluge. That thing still sounds damned good to me. Thanks again!

Oh, and it's a '65 Mustang. heart \m/
