Raining in the Mountains

By miraclemiles on May 26, 2024 5:31 pm

Finishing this track while looking out at some Montana mountains on a rainy day. Sometimes the rain can feel disappointing, it can change your plans and be uncomfortable. But its a good thing too. Obviously because its life-sustaining. And because it encourages time to reflect and contemplate, relax and regroup.
This is an edit of a live jam with Creatures Once bandmate Monstrosus, who played these amazing keys. I added the rest during and after that jam.

Hope everyone's week is good, I look forward to catching up on your music this week.

Hmmmm. Very delicious. This music is not absolutely connected to the scenery, when you have been working on it, I also can associate a night scenery downtown as I drift away. A mood of rain is in here for sure. Have a good time out there and some sunny days as well.

It doesn't rain very often here so I usually enjoy a rainy day, but I totally get how they can kill the vibe, especially when you want to do stuff outdoors.  I get a sense of melancholy off this.  It has a bit of a jazzy feel to me also.

awwww yea, baskin in the smoothness heart

Thank you for listening! Yes I think it was recorded at night some months past. A different day. Maybe was raining both times though. I'll go with that in my imagination.

That's right, the rain is probably a real treat for the desert dwellers! Come mid-summer I'll be hoping for a rainy day or two for sure. Melancholy jazz is about right, thanks for listening!
