Hours Gained

Something smooth and warm to put on for the long cool nights.
Editing this today I feel warmer than the frigid, dank day I'm looking out at. Ready for a warm drink and little fire side dancing.

So. Very happy that we did it again! Another one featuring my son sounding smooth on the tenor sax. Just barely fit in a little improvisation session this weekend between him waking up and leaving for the day to go be a teenager. Got a head start thanks to some tasty keys and a horn riff from a recent jam with Monstrosus. I put down some bass and rhythms to play along with for about an hour while I joined on more percussion, more bass played on the Push and more drumming. We even got my wife involved in recording video. Barely enough space for the three of us in my little office/studio, but we had fun. Sitting down to improvise and make music together is a great experience for us both, very grateful we did it again, and I'm confident we'll do more!

I love these sax improvs. Some tasty lines against the groovy beat you've laid. I love these horns that appear at 1:15, giving a latin vibe. This is flavorful. Digging that funky guitar too. You guys have a great party going at home!

Ok, I am SO DOWN for this. Love the sax and just everything about this. Brilliant!

Yay sax son!

Sax sounds great and the whole vibe feels joyous and celebratory.  A great way to generate a little heat on a chilly day.

Hail yais on the collabs!  Love the thick grooviness this has immediately with the sax, bass and funky guitar.  Visions of enjoying this in a live setting in a big smoke filled nightclub.  **shakes head to da groove**

Just uploaded the video!

Oooh, playing live would sure be fun, full band, dance-floor! Fun visions indeed! I like the sounds of "think grooviness", yeah, the kind of groove I want! Thanks for shaking to the groove here in our virtual club!

YES!!! I'm so happy to hear other WBers putting their kids into productions, I'm not the only one. It sounds good!
