coconut milk latte break

By miraclemiles on May 24, 2026 10:56 pm

Hmmm, actually this might be a sequel to Coconuts for the Queen from a few weeks ago.
Our merry band of travelers (drummers, synthesists and the like) delivered the coconuts. We had a party and made some delicious lattes. Someone told a mildly dirty joke and the queen seemed offended, but had a good laugh in the end because that's what happens when partying to a funky break beat and squiggly synth business.
---
Started this on drums, went off on a kind of break thing I had in my head and riffed on that for a long while. Then went off on the Circuit Monostation and Circuit Tracks. Voices from voice memos recorded throughout the week. I think I did make, or wanted to make a coconut milk latte, which I will may go do now as well!
Cheers to you health and musical endeavors, citizens of the Weekly Beat realm!

A fun story to this one.  The music makes me want to move around and the voices are appealingly odd and whimsical.  As good of an advertisement for coconut milk lattes as they're ever likely to get.

A perfect brew of madness and caffeine. The beat programming is so good!

Sounds like a good time!!! Love the energy of the group scattered throughout

awwwww yeah!!
u r wild

Lots of great vocal chops and the underlying scratches, great inspiration for a track and now I'm sure I will be thinking about a coconut milk latte all day, in fact I may just go make one now, minus the coconut milk, only have regular milk right now.

Oh yais those drums have such an infectious groove! Visions of Christopher Walken dancing to this.
