Hat's Off

A little something I tinkered with on Midsummer's Day's Night.
It started with only using hihats for a drum thingy, and ended with a melancholy brass melody.

Hat's Off for You.
Like those elegant gentlemen in the 50's movies, tapping the hat, or taking it in their hand when meeting a special lady
or when stepping into
a church.
"This is my church"
Like Faithless sings, in one of the best club songs of all time.
"This is my church. This is where I heal my hurt. And for tonight....God is a DJ."

And I'm pretty sure,
God's Hat
Is Off for You too.
Maybe it's even hanging on a nail on the wall.
After a tough day at work.

That reminds me- I should go to bed.

Cool! Fedora is such a vibe, particularly in a dark alley. I'm seeing steam coming up from a manhole cover, and a cut scuttling away as you trot along under the street lamps

Feels like July is all rest, the body is getting it's due- on multiple occasions, ive found myself fallen asleep around 8pm together with baby when rocking them to sleep, hand still holding on to their bed
