Discovering a Keyboard

By Minnamari on January 10, 2026 9:52 pm

A recording of me and my one-year-old jamming by the keyboard + my four-year-old joining towards the end.

I want to protect my kids privacy and don't really share images or videos of them publicly. But I feel like I also want to experiment with sharing some of our playful creative moments, because these moments bring me joy and that joy is worth sharing. There's something fascinating in this combination of private/shared/creative. In sharing this simple recording from everyday life I am reframing it as something more than ordinary...or maybe that just is the magic of life, and "everyday creativity" smile

Thanks!

We were snowed in for a few days, and then the car battery emptied out because the car was left standing. But after charging it for two days (and our kid stayed home from daycare cause we couldn't get there) the car started again and the tractor came and cleared the road. But honestly, it was a cozy time too. And we were stocked up with food. Limitation is an oracle.. Felt like there was value in being "forced" to spend that extra time at home.

I can't handle it either big_smile Our one year old LOVES music, we'll both of them do, but she states dancing as soon as she hears anything resembling a melody.

Feels cozy, like an old photograph smile

I love the family collaboration, huge fan
