wanted to redo the kick/bass part cause it felt kind of flat in the end but ran out of time (again).

Kick/bass sound good to me, this is so smooth, great job with all the variations in the percussion, grooved to this on the drive home.
Hell yeah this is so good, the drums sound great and obviously carry the track a lot, but the synth chords and small arps in the background are awesome as well. Very enjoyable and not boring, I love it !
I'm certainly into this beat. nothing wrong with the kick, basswise idk what you were going for, but seems fine. the details in the arrangement does make it interesting to hear throughout. I guess the bassline could always be a little bit more funky, but that's a lifelong pursuit.
This is a solid beat, the only thing that I'd change is maybe the mix, bringing the drums back ever so slightly
