[END OF DISC ONE]

I think one of the stand out elements of this song is that tremelo'd (is that even a work?) trance-y lead , and it leads into that big washed out pad that just sounds delightful.

I could easily jump on the flow of this track and get carried away. It was developing smoothly and kept my interest. Well done.

bought my ticket, nice pacing.

Definitely has a whimsical cosmic flare to it. super nice!

Never used images/gifs here before (hope it works) but this is such a head bopper I had to show it lol This track builds so much anticipation, I think largely through harmony. Moments where it sits on one chord for an especially long time work really well for my ears. Also, the sun?!?

I used to play so many ps1 scifi games back in the day and this just sends me back to those times.
Amazing textures and swells

Side note: I recently saw a capybara and didn't realize how large they can be. Like I thought they were the size of puppies. Idk why

This is awesome, one of my favs for this week for sure

Love the pacing and chord progression of this.  The melodies blend so nicely together with the pulsing sort of rhythm that goes on throughout.  Really calming effect.

Thanks! It was one of the last editions, and I struggled with what to do with it, so I’m glad to hear it worked out okay.

Thank you! That was my hope for this track, so I’m very glad to hear it.

Thank you! It’s funny - I started off the year in pursuit of a heavier, darker sound, but I guess I’m back on the mood for some upbeat energy these days. Maybe there’s a way to tie the two together somehow.

Very happy to hear this too! And yeah, they’re surprisingly big. In fairness, they do start off the size of puppies when they’re very little. big_smile

Thanks so much!

I'm excited for this adventure. I heard the sun is pretty warm this time of year.

missed this last week and so glad i came back. WOW! really playful but deep track, totally uplifting without being cloying.
i love that trick at the beginning where the more lofi keyboard sounding beat transitions into big main beat. almost like an image coming into focus or something. may have to try that sometime!

Me too. smile It's a work in progress, but I'm hoping I can stick the landing.
And yep, the sun sure is pretty warm this time of year! Just be sure to wear plenty of sunblock. wink

Thanks! To tell the truth, the disc idea was actually inspired by a comment ViridianLoom left on an earlier track. It may not have worked out this year, but maybe in a future WB year I might give it another shot.
