"You've been to a lake,
but have you *bean* to a lake?
You should try it, bro!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
lol, but how do I bean to a lake? Instructions unclear.
Love the dreamy atmosphere though. Great track.
I will bean to a lake and to the sea if this is what it sounds like, been really sleeping on beaning to a lake. (Gorgeous and delightful.)
I can't say I have, but now I kinda want to
Ah yes beautiful vibe, with a nice blue sky and relaxing time. I like the woodblock like arpeggios, it does not feel too synthetic but still retains the good percussive and progressive element that arps provide.
Thanks for the kind feedback, and for the beautiful gif!
they bean to lake
the beauty of this piece thankfully offsets the pain I experienced during that haiku LOL
thanks for your music theory notes.  one thing you made me think of, is that when something jumps out as "unexpected" - could I define what I did expect to happen?
in this song i'll describe it as this (sorry for n00b language)
chord arpeggio 1
chord arpeggio 1 repeats
chord arpeggio 2 which is lower and seems "similarly constructed" as #1
chord arpeggio 3 which is higher than 2 and lower than 1
THEN, based on the set up I expected it to repeat
BUT
we got #4 which was different than expected
and then #5 went higher than expected
this is actually a new thing for me to be able to say that in words!  thank you!
Better bring a jacket to the bean lake, I hear it's chili.
Beautiful track!
About that haiku:
Hope you can push through.
Haha, thanks! big_smile
immediately fell in love with the string/pad melody at 0:18, also I love legume puns.
Thank you! heart I kept going back and forth on whether the melody needed to be more active, but I had a preference for something mellower this time around. Glad to have someone to share puns with too! tongue
back to this on repeat!
you want to explain to everyone on WB that i'm not listening to their tracks because I'm just listening to this and Tone Matrix's "Iridescent" on repeat please?
thanks.
