I'd been wanting to try writing a string duet this year. Finally I just decided to...

...do it.

With five weeks left, may your "it's" be labors of love and your "doing's" be plentiful!

Wow, these strings sound amazing.  The pizz part is no joke, must have taken while to write but totally worth it.  Which Cinesamples pack do you use?  I already blew some black friday money, but I may need to blow more...

Thanks! This one's entirely (1) Taylor Davis and (2) Tina Guo vol. 2. I actually use the pizzicato and spiccato patches in a lot of my tracks - I just like how snappy and clean they sound. (They're also cheaper - though still pricy, even on Black Friday - than most CineSamples libraries, and maybe more versatile too.)

This arrangement is spectacular smile Nice work dude!

Awesome arrangement. These samples sound so good and I like the dynamics you're getting there, like around 1:30. Very inspiring!

You did it, absolute lad, you totally did do the do it.

Scooby-dooby-doo!
Thanks for listening. smile

WOOOOOOOW this is so amazing.  Downloaded and going to listen to this on repeat.  My husband was shocked when I told him it was virtual instruments.

I'm wondering how close I could get using Reason or Ableton Live.  You are a total wizard.

Damnnnnn this one is so good. This is ear candy with the variety of styles of string playing be integrated, I don't know all the technical names like pizzacato or whatever but the muted strings, the plucked strings, the sustained and bowed strings, it's like I'm listening to the real deal. Super impressive.
